On January 14th, facecar cross-platform Telematics Experience Activity-Beijing Station was successfully held. This activity has gained great attention and active participation from vehicle manufacturers, terminal equipment vendors, information service providers and other industry insiders, and it took the lead in opening the curtain of the 2018 domestic Telematics Experience Innovative Thematic Activity.
Mr. Cheng Ran, Executive Director of PlumNet Research Institute and senior research expert, hosted the event. In his opening speech, with his perennial insights and analysis in the field of Telematics, he analyzed the opportunities and challenges implied by the cross-platform Telematics experience under the trend of automotive intelligence and Internetization.
Zhu Jiaming, Director of Experience Innovation of facecar, released the report "Scenario-based In-vehicle Interaction Experience Design Research & Practice Case Sharing" at the meeting. The report was compiled and integrated by a team of user experience experts who conducted in-depth market research, mined users' first-hand data analysis and combined with practical experience, which is of great reference significance for building a friendly automotive human-computer interaction system. At the meeting, Zhu Jiaming focused on the research and design mode of Telematics products, the refinement of scenario-based user tasks and requirements, and the compilation and application of interaction principles, etc., and analyzed in-depth the grounding of related practical works in an innovative way.
Mr. Huang, a forward-looking design expert from BAIC Research Institute, shared "Automotive Design under the Wave of Internet" from the perspective of an OEM. As a senior designer who has been involved in many classic models such as Great Wall Haval H6 and all new energy vehicles of BAIC, Mr. Huang's sharing combines the new wave of automotive design concepts with his rich experience, and brings a brand new perspective of Internet automotive design to the attending practitioners. In the analysis of human interaction design in the car, Mr. Huang mentioned that the key point of HMI experience design is to open up the central axis of the in-vehicle system, and set up in-vehicle interaction scenarios according to the classification of the crowd to explore the personalized needs, among which the special scenarios specially planned for "female drivers" were praised by the guests.
Danxing Wang, HMI design supervisor from FAW Group, took "OEM Interaction Design Case Sharing" as the theme and brought participants the most practical experience for design reference from the visual design case of instrumentation and infotainment system of Red Flag H platform.
During the "dry goods" sharing of the three guests, the participants grabbed the fresh content information, threw out their own thoughts and opinions in the interactive session, and combined with the focus topics such as "how to better design O2O interactive services", "new design challenges brought by new energy vehicles", "how to integrate emerging technologies and interaction design", etc. with the experts of Telematics, they had a fierce collision of ideas and exchanges of viewpoints. In the interactive session, the participants also put forward their own thoughts and opinions, and had a fierce collision of ideas and exchanges of views with the Telematics experts on the topics of "how to better design O2O interactive services", "new design challenges brought by new energy vehicles", and "how to integrate emerging technologies and interaction design".
